Found this photo on flickr in my travels.
It made me consider why I haven't embraced the web 2.0 Technology before now. The history behind this illustration is that it was drawn by a developer Ben Sheldon using Inkspace an open source illustration program for Conference in Washington DC.
His anecdote was that one of the conference attendees had said that he had always been worried with computers and machines growing ever smarter and more powerful and that this could become an issue. But after seeing the new web 2.0 tools he has become more embracive.
For me I guess I have had the same sentiment, I was a little bit sceptical about social networking sites etc. but through going through the 23 things program and using the tools that Web 2.0 can offer I am actually enjoying myself.
